Genomics

openSputnik forms a core environment for the address of specific genomics questions. The core infrastructure for comparative genomics has already been implemented within the area of "reconstructomics". With the ability to perform large scale analysis, archival and interpretation within a single framework and utilising some of the most contemporary bioinformatics methods (everything is XML defined and external transformation methods can be defined) - openSputnik surely has some potential within a genomics pipeline.
